Since iPhone 12's features are not yet confirmed until it is revealed on Tuesday, Oct. 13, here are some rumors stating how iPhone 12 will be different from iPhone 11. These rumored features will also help you determine if you should by a new Phone now or just wait.

Number of Models

iPhone 12: There could be four models of the new iPhone that will be launched on Oct. 13. These are iPhone 12 (6.1-inch), iPhone 12 Pro (6.1-inch), iPhone 12 Mini (5.4-inch), and iPhone 12 Pro Max (6.7-inch).

iPhone 11: iPhone 11 only has three models. These are iPhone 11 (6.1-inch), iPhone 11 Pro Max (6.5-inch), and iPhone 11 Pro (5.8-inch).

Cameras

iPhone 12: Its cameras will have all the features of iPhone 11's cams, but it will have an additional time-of-flight camera. This will help the users capture depth information and help with AR mapping.

iPhone 11: It has an ultra-angle camera, an excellent video camera, and a Photo Night Mode (iPhone 11 doesn't have a time-of-flight camera).

Refresh rates

iPhone 12: It could have a 120Hz refresh rate and a ProMotion display. These features are usually found in iPad Pro.

iPhone 11: Right now, the iPhone 11 only has a 60Hz refresh rate or 60 frames per second of a refresh. It has a lower refresh rate compared to the iPhone 12, which leads to slower scrolling feeling through websites and apps.

5G cellular connectivity

iPhone 12: It is expected that the new iPhone will have the next-generation 5G cellular connectivity. This means that iPhone 12 could reach high-speed wireless network.

iPhone 11: This old model of iPhone doesn't offer 5G connectivity.

Price

iPhone 12: Since the new iPhone device is rumored to have great features compared to other old versions, the iPhone 12 Mini, its base version, will cost $649. On the other hand, the iPhone 12 Pro will cost $999, and the iPhone 12 Pro Max will be $1,099.

iPhone 11: The 2019 iPhone 11's base model costs $699, which was $50 less compared to iPhone XR, which was released in 2018.
