"Call of Duty: Mobile" is celebrating its first anniversary on October 15 with a greatest game update yet.

The update is already available both on Android and iOS devices. Game developer Activision claims this has been the game's "biggest injection of content ever" since its launch on October 1, 2019, according to Game Spot.

The Anniversary Update

In a blog post in its website, Activision is adding a lot of new activities and contents to celebrate its Anniversary Season. Among these great update are a new Battle Royale map, new Mythic weapons, a new social space as well as new contents, including new maps, modes, and Battle Pass.

Alcatraz - a new battle royale map

One of the biggest update is the launch of a new battle royale map called the Alcatraz, which is inspired by the "Black Ops 4's Blackout" mode's location. However, the Alcatraz map will only be available for a limited time.

Unlike the original battle royale map Isolated, Alcatraz is smaller, which focuses more on close-quarters engagements. Players are challenged to battle to survival within the San Francisco Bay prison. Players must check out how to earn new rewards, which include an epic calling card and rare weapon camos.

The Club

Also included in the update is a new social space - The Club. What's a better way to celebrate anniversary but to party, and as the name suggests, The Club is a hangout place for players to enjoy various mini-games such as darts or arcade games.

In this new social area, players can pick one among four custom-made soundtracks as they explore The Club. They can go to the bar and watch some television shows while having Juggernog. They may also take a spin on the Anniversary Machine to earn special rewards as players earn points on each spin while they can unlock new epic rewards in certain milestones.

Meanwhile, they can also choose to get NPC mission tasks from characters, including Adler of the upcoming "Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War."

Unlock the free Advanced UAV scorestreak by reaching Tier 14 while Tier 21 unlocks the Fennec SMG, which is a new functional weapon with a superfast fire rate. However, players can also buy the Battle Pass, so they can unlock all 50 tiers included in the Anniversary Battle Pass.

Other updates

The Anniversary update includes a Cranked mode, which debuted in "Call of Duty: Ghosts" in 2019, although this mode includes a 30-second timer when a player is eliminated during which players earn double points for kills and move faster.

There is also the new King map, which can be played in Duel and Gunfight modes. And just in time for Halloween, the update adds the map Halloween Standoff, which is a nighttime version of the Standoff map featuring jack-o-lanterns and other spookiness.
