The smell of bacon may not be so hard to sniff anymore or require the public to head onto the kitchen and fire-up the stove because Hormel Foods Corporation will hand out a "Bacon-scented" Face Mask to a lucky fan in a raffle. Hormel's new concept face mask will not only give meat-lovers the satisfaction of aromatic bacon but also protection from the coronavirus.
Hormel Foods makes their bacon-scented face mask up for grabs to anyone who wishes a contest promo for the lucky winner. The scented face masks are not for sale. However, a lucky fan would not need to pay just to get one's hands on the "bacon face mask."
Bacon Face Mask: Is It Enough to Protect?
The scent that the face mask would carry is Hormel's premium line of meats, also known as the favorite "Black Label." The food company is calling its promotional face mask the "Hormel Black Lable Breathable Bacon." The face mask may seem like a joke at first glance, but Hormel guarantees that this is a legitimate creation.
The "thick cut" breathable bacon is a 2-ply woven and multi-fiber fabric face mask that offers complete protection against the coronavirus or COVID-19. The scent would only be available for the mask bearer and would not bother those in close proximity.
The bacon face mask would sport an adjustable earloop design to snug a fit onto any bearer's face, ideal for any age and facial structure. Hormel promises an "all-day" breakfast heaven for the person who will win the food company's exclusive prize.

How to Join the Contest?
According to Hormel's website, there would be a drawing competition that would choose the best design from the public. The winner of the contest would win the prestigious and exclusive bacon-scented face mask that is the first of its kind.
It is still unclear how to win the bacon-scented face mask because, according to Hormel's website, there would be multiple winners and recipients depending on the entries made. Currently, the food corporation is creating a second batch of the "breathable bacon" to accommodate the massive entry in its system.
The public only needs to enter one's credentials, personal information, and email address to join the raffle. Hormel is opening up the competition for two weeks only, from October 14 to October 28, midnight Central Time (CT).
According to Hormel, the winners would be randomly selected on November 4 and would ship the masks right at the winner's doorstep.
Hormel Partners with Feeding America
Aside from the glorifying contest and bacon-full promotion of Hormel, the food company partners up with the hunger-relief operations, Feeding America, on this venture. The charitable act aims to help in feeding those who struggle with food, especially during this crisis.
Every public entry would entitle one meal up to a massive 10,000 meals for all affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.
Hormel also advises the public to follow the proper mask-wearing guidelines from the Center for Disease Control and Prevention or CDC.
