Having any trouble accessing Instagram? You're not alone. Instagram is currently down Wednesday morning with users complaining that the social network is partly offline.

DownDetector site shows the Instagram outage began at 6 p.m. EST and is affecting users around the globe. Sadly, the social media giant has not yet released any information about the disruption or any statement on how to address the issue.

Instagram is down! Cause of Outage

The outage impacts users in various ways but most reported that direct messaging are the most impacted aspects of the social network. Users are currently unable to reach Instagram via the mobile app or website.

While Instagram has not yet issued any update or detail about the outage or when the problem would be fixed, users are posting about their network concerns in Twitter.

One user tweeted that she thought her Wi-Fi was not working, but it turned out Instagram was down while other users had to restart her router and even changed their password, but still cannot access the network.

Meanwhile, one user sarcastically said: "You've done it again! We are proud of you" as the network again had another outage.

Meanwhile, one user said that while the network was already working on her end, "it failed to load earlier messages." Nevertheless, it seems Instagram has already been working on others as complaints in Twitter started to wind down around 7:20 p.m.

One user said she just went to Twitter to see how the outage was affecting others while numerous people tweeted that they headed back to Instagram since it went back
