According to the Apple Support Document released several days ago, there are specific guidelines for new users, particularly of the iPhone 12, in using the MagSafe's wireless charging method. The MagSafe charger offers a unique way of "wireless" as it latches itself magnetically at the back of every iPhone.

The document narrates the proper way to use the MagSafe chargers, particularly its wattage and required power to deliver its promise of fast charging despite the wireless connection. Apple reminds the public that there should be no objects between the phone, MagSafe Case, and the MagSafe Charger to ensure proper and safe charging every time.

Apple warns that fast charging can heat the battery and iPhone 12, thus triggering MagSafe's safety feature that works with the smartphone's software. Heating up can cause the iPhone 12 to limit the charging to only 80 percent and resume as the temperature cools down.
