Yet another delay by "Cyberpunk 2077", the supposed "Game of the Year" and one of the most long-awaited games has started to cause irate fans. CD Projekt Red even managed to get Keanu Reeves as the face of the game but despite this, the delay has made everything quite questionable as to if fans are still interested in buying the game or not.

This is understandable since "Cyberpunk 2077" had a track record of repeatedly extending its release date but what really pissed off some fans was how they handled the yet another delay.

'Cyberpunk 2077' delays once again and announces pre-orders yet again

According to an article by The Verge, "Cyberpunk 2077" has been delayed yet again but this time, all the way until December 10. The developer CD Projekt Red stated that it is working on the whole launch day patch for the previously stated November 19 but due to another slew of more problems, this time blaming the problem with compatibility with the new consoles, the game will be held back yet again.

An article by Gotta Be Mobile stated that despite the strong temptation to still pre-order "Cyberpunk 2077", there are some actual legit reasons for the gamers to hold off. It's important to know whether or not pre-ordering the game is worth it even after the multiple delays.

'Cyberpunk 2077': Will it be delayed again?

One big problem with this yet another delay is that it kind of takes the excitement off of the game. With the initial expectation in November, waiting another whole month now does not give concrete assurance anymore as CD Projekt Red has lost quite a chunk of its credibility.

Another big reason to take a step back and really decide is that although most of the retailers allow cancellations of pre-orders that are free-of-charge even before the game is shipped out, there are still a few retailers that will immediately charge for the game.

Sony is one of these retailers that immediately charge and it is a bit hard, if not impossible, to refund. This is why it is important to decide whether or not it is a good idea to put down money and wait.

Another reason that could put 'Cyberpunk 2077' fans off

Another reason why the game could be off is that "Cyberpunk 2077" was already confirmed way back in the year 2012 which is almost 10 years ago. Finally, the game is said to launch for the Xbox One, the Windows PC, the PlayStation 4, the Google Stadia, the Xbox Series X, the Xbox Series S, and the PlayStation 5.

Fans have to really ask themselves what 8 years of production and still constant delays mean to themselves. For those who don't know, the game is actually a sequel to the previous Mike Pondsmith's own pen and paper RPG Cyberpunk 2020 which was released all the way back in 1988.
