Tesla's Full Self-Driving mode is in beta now! However, all good things indeed come at a price. Elon Musk warned Tesla owners about FSD's high cost since it is in beta already.

Tesla has introduced a limited network of charging stations along the German highway grid in an effort to raise the viability for consumers to use the cars for longer journeys.
The giant car manufacturer raised full self-driving mode's price to $10,000 in the United States for both new car buyers and upgrades. If you will compare it to the original cost, it is $2,000 higher.
However, according to Engadget's latest report, the eye-watering price is not guaranteed to stay as it is. Tesla said that the price could likely increase as it sends out new features.
FSD Mode still can't fully drive a Tesla vehicle
Although Tesla's latest product is named "Full" Self-Driving mode, it still can't control the vehicle entirely by itself. Owners are advised to stay alert and pay attention to the road.

Tesla's FSD only unlocks more semi-autonomous features such as Autopark, traffic light stops, and Auto Lane Change. Its main goal is to let the driver use their car like a robotaxi by offering real full autonomy.
Full Self-Driving mode's increased price reflects Elon Musk's strategy of gaining profit through add-ons. This technique also includes unlocking some of the features that you already have.
Drivers report Tesla FSD mode's major flaw
Despite Tesla's FSD mode's expensive price, it still amazes many drivers. According to Ars Technica's latest report, Brandon M, a Tesla owner, posted a video to show how Full Self-Driving mode works.
The footage revealed that the software couldn't detect another speeding car. Brandon said that he had to deactivate the FSD software and hit the brakes since the other car was going so fast.
The Tesla owner posted another video showing that the software can't turn sharply enough to avoid crashing into a parked car.
"Oh Jeeeesus," said Brandon.
"That was a good example of this is still beta and how important it is to have control at all times. It just steered directly into the back of this parked car, and it wasn't going to brake," he added.
Tesla said it is not intended for fully autonomous operation since it is still in the beta stage.
