However, other people speculated that it is just a subsidiary of the tech giant company. One of the commentators said that the building couldn't be MSI's headquarters since the company is from Taiwan.

"I don't blame you, but they do have subsidiaries in China, so might as well be that which is burning down," added u/firesolstice.

On the other hand, u/DarkZero515 said that he is getting nervous about MSI's future support for his B550 he just bought. Another user replied to his comment, explaining that he doesn't have to worry since Micro-Star International is a big corporation with a billion dollars revenue every year.

Did the fire cause any injuries?

PC Gamer reported that there wasn't any confirmation yet if some people were hurt or hospitalized because of the unfortunate event. Since there's not much information about the fire, there's no way to tell if the GeForce RTX 3080 was also burned to crisp.

Although the factory is not the main headquarters, since the hardware manufacturer is based in Taiwan, it is still a significant site, which houses an R&D Center and two factories ever since it was inaugurated in 2003.

MSI factory incident happened months after CEO Chiang's death

MSI is clearly going through rough times right now. The fire incident happened just a few months after the CEO died. Charles Chiang succumbed to his death after falling from a building.

Daily Esports reported that the 56-year-old man fell from the seventh floor of one of the company's Taiwanese offices. Mr Chiang was a very respected CEO, who took over MSI back in 2019.

He helped the tech giant manufacturer to be a worldwide brand, which sponsors many huge events and players in the gaming community.

"Mr. Chiang was a respected leader in the MSI family, and helped pave the way for the brand's success," said an MSI spokesperson, as reported by Daily Esports.

"We are all deeply saddened by the news, and are mourning the loss of Mr. Chiang. He will be deeply missed by the entire team," he added.
