The Butter Robot's creators did not limit the new technology and "Rick and Morty" merchandise to be a dull and butter-passing robot only. Digital Dream Labs incorporates the famous sassy voice of the Butter Robot that made the character famous in the TV show.

The "nearly-sentient" robot comes directly from the "Citadel of Ricks" which will surely give its new masters the entertainment that it provided the show during its initial debut. The robot has an "emotion engine" that makes it sensitive to commands with a human-like personality and can even disobey the user's orders.

The Butter Robot integrates a learning AI within it, giving it the ability to mimic phrases, talkback, and even disrespect its new masters. Digital Dream Labs made the robot "self-aware" just like its TV show counterpart and can rebel against its owners.

The Butter Robot is the closest fans can get to its erratic and crazy creator, Rick Sanchez, from the TV show. "Rick and Morty" features several aftermaths and grave effects of technology, showing its dangers in a hilarious and mature-contented animated show that follows the grandfather and grandson tandem.

Digital Dream Lab's Butter Robot has three modes namely Direct Control Mode, Coding Mode, and Passing Mode that are controllable through voice and its downloadable smartphone application for iOS and Android.

The Direct Control makes it like a remote-controlled robot that can dance and go to places, all while looking from its integrated camera. The Coding Mode allows users to tweak their functions using "blocks."; Lastly, its Passing Mode is the voice command that activates itself with the phrase "Pass the Butter."
