Jeff Bezos' Amazon vs Elon Musk's Tesla & SpaceX

Amazon, the number one e-commerce company is now valued at $1.7 trillion USD according to an article by CNBC which also noted that its CEO Jeff Bezos is worth $200 billion USD as of the article's release on August 16. While Elon Musk's net worth is now at $104 billion USD, this still remains to be in a very competitive area since both companies have just recently started to do better than ever.

The story of both Tesla and SpaceX and how both companies were able to overcome near bankruptcy is something that makes Elon Musk really popular since he is functioning CEO of both companies. With two companies previously on the brink of bankruptcy to now being two of the most valued companies in the world, the CEO does get quite a lot of attention. Elon Musk has been appearing in the news a lot both when it comes to space exploration through SpaceX or when it comes to electric cars with Tesla.

Elon Musk: Tesla and SpaceX

SpaceX has been very vocal about its ultimate plan to assist NASA in sending human beings to Mars. With the recent Crew Dragon's successful launch, SpaceX has gotten even more popular as it has shown that its mass production of rockets works. Although Mars may be a long way from now, SpaceX has also been very vocal about its progress with Starlink which aims to release tens of thousands of satellites into space in order to provide internet connection to places with either problematic internet or no internet at all.

Tesla, on the other hand, has been facilitating its expansion in Europe with the new Giga Berlin getting ready to be the company's main manufacturing center within Europe.
