InnerSloth has released the latest update for "Among Us," which aims to improve the game experience, particularly with the removal of all advertisements until 2021.

"Among Us" can be played for free in both Android and iOS devices. Players may also download the game on PC, but they would need to pay $5 on Steam or itch.io.

The free mobile game version includes ads while players are also notified that the game uses AdMob and data collection. However, those who do not want to get pestered by ads and data collection can easily purchase the ad-free version for just $2. They just need to tap the Remove Ads button and follow the instructions to choose the payment method.

Meanwhile, the developer said it is re-evaluating to prevent inappropriate ads from showing up in the game. So for the meantime, ads have been removed from November 23 until undisclosed date in 2021.

'Among Us' updates and announcements

Innersloth's new Community Director Victoria also advised the game community about "Among Us"' The Game Awards nominations for Best Mobile Game and Best Multiplayer. She also announced the launch of the game's official merchandize store which sells Among Us accessories, bags, phone cases, and apparel as well as home and office supplies.

InnerSloth is also seeking to make the game localized, allowing players to enjoy playing "Among Us" anywhere. Aside from English, the developer plans to make the game also available in other languages such as Italian, French, German, Dutch, Russian, European Spanish and Los Angeles, Brazilian and European Portuguese, Korean, Japanese as well as the Philippines' Visayan language. Nevertheless, the developer also vowed to add more language availability, but it depends on the number of accountholders in certain locations.

Meanwhile, InnerSloth also promised to have improvements in its system, in line with its privacy policies while account reporting and moderation will be soon integrated. The developer also vowed to tackle hacking and toxicity as it aims to have a welcoming community within the game. It encouraged players to report any issues to support@innersloth.com.

'Among Us' Full patch notes

As we have earlier reported that the fourth map was under development, well, it was already revealed on November 19 through the game's official Twitter account. InnerSloth has released updates, although the full details of the new map are not yet included.

Nevertheless, the new map will surely excite "Among Us" fans who may have been playing The Skeld, Mira HQ, and Polus for quite some time. Check out the full patch notes below:
