The dawn of December means that Christmas is coming for both the real-world and Nintendo Switch's popular simulation game of 2020. Online games mostly update the appearance to appear more "Christmas-y," with Nintendo's "Animal Crossing" also joining the yuletide season's vibes with its appropriate update.

"Animal Crossing: New Horizon's" Winter Update for 2020 has already been released and began its initial event with November's Turkey Day, celebrating Thanksgiving along with the real-world, globally. The update also holds one of the most important events of the year, which is Christmas, which is called "Toy Day" in the simulation game's counterpart.

Apart from Toy Day's delivery frenzy event on December 24, there would be additional tasks and mini-quests to do, helping gamers prepare for the cold holiday of the month.

According to Game Rant, there would be eighteen (18) Snowflake DIY Recipes, with the Ice Wand and the Snowflake Wreath, which can all be gathered and crafted without spending in-game currency. It is quite noting that there is still no snowfall in-game, but snowing would start on Friday, December 11 globally, allowing players to catch snowflakes from outside.

The snowflakes falling on the ground come randomly, but it would be available all over the island from December 11 to February 24. These dates mean that the recipes can be made until the last week of February 2021. It is essential to turn up the volume as approaching snowflakes to create a twinkling chime whenever one's near it.
