Atlus and SEGA's "Persona" franchise has been incredibly popular on the Sony family of consoles that fans were delighted when "Persona 4 Golden" was launched on Steam in June 2020, and now fans are even more excited with the imminent arrival of "Persona 5 Strikers" on PC.

'Persona 5 Strikers' PC Version Will Have Denuvo Tech

The Steam landing page for the game has been launched, allowing players to pre-purchase it and know more about how the game will run on PC.

One notable thing from the game's Steam page is that "Persona 5 Strikers" will be using the Denuvo anti-tamper tech, something that didn't really surprise fans who have purchased and installed "P4G" as the previous "Persona" game also used the same tech.

However, Denuvo DRM is known to affect performance, will this be the case with the Atlus title?

According to Siliconera, Denuvo DRM is a tech that helps prevent piracy and the use of cheats, but it can also negatively affect the performance of some games, but despite that, it's not uncommon for developers and publishers to use the tech when it releases for PC.

For example, Capcom removed third-party digital rights management tech for both "Resident Evil 2" as well as for "Devil May Cry 5" as the said techs apparently reduced the quality of the latter's performance on PC.

'Persona 5 Strikers' Worldwide Release

With that, it is likely that Denuvo DRM will remain with "Persona 5 Strikers" as it arrives on PC, but in the event players report some issues with the game, and they find it's because of the anti-tamper tech, Atlus might consider having it removed.

"Persona 4 Golden," which was released with the Denuvo tech, seems to be working rather well, and despite the reputation the tech has, it still sold thousands of copies via Steam.

For now, fans would just have to wait until the game finally releases on February 23, 2021, to see whether the tech is a nuisance or not.

"Persona 5 Strikers" is a hack and slash RPG game that initially came out in Japan on PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch earlier this year, while the worldwide release is scheduled for February 2021 for the PS4, Switch, and PC via Steam.

Atlus and Koei Tecmo Crossover

According to DSOGaming, the title is a crossover between Atlus' RPG game "Persona 5" and Koei Tecmo's "Dynasty Warriors."

It features Joker and the rest of the Phantom Thieves that we all know from the original "Persona 5" game that initially launched in 2016 and is set six months after the original title's events.

Once the game is out on Steam, players have the choice to choose from eight different languages and a full keyboard and mouse adaptation.

Fans can already pre-order the Digital Deluxe version of the game via Steam, the PlayStation Store, or the Nintendo eShop, and by doing so, fans will be granted early access to the game on February 19, 2021--days before the rest of the world can.

Moreover, the PC version can support full HD up to 4K.
