Some users may experience a connection problem when trying the new product across different types of devices for the first time. When experiencing issues, the first thing you will do is to restart the AirPods Max.

This is not only applicable to the new headset, but the method can also be used in many devices. Mac Rumors reported that if the technique doesn't work, you can return the AirPods Max and get the new one.

However, since it is connected to your devices, you need to factory reset the headset to unpair it from your iCloud account. To help you with it, here's a quick guide on how to do both of the methods.

Resetting AirPods Max

The first thing you need to do is to make sure that the headset has power. You can do this by plugging them into a charging point through the supplied USB-C to Lightning Cable.

After that, you need to press and hold the Noise Control button and the Digital Crown button. You need to wait until the LED status light flashes amber. You can find it at the bottom of the right-hand earcup.

On the other hand, you also need to ensure that the headset still has power before you conduct a factory reset. Once you are sure that it still has a battery, you need to press and hold the Digital Crown and the Noise Control button. You need to do this for 15 seconds until the LED status light flashes amber, then white.

AirPods now supports MacBooks

According to TechRadar's latest report, Apple's latest AirPods Max now supports MacBooks. However, users can only connect the headset if their laptops have the macOS Big Sur 11.1.

The new feature was made possible by Apple's latest update on its MacBook products. The operating system's latest update will also bring new features that people can surely enjoy.

These include adaptive EQ. The new feature adapts the sound quality of the AirPods Max in real-time to the personal fit of ear cushions. A new Apple TV+ is also added in the latest update, allowing users to find Apple original movies and shows.
