'Call of Duty' update

According to an article by The Sun, it is now a major mid-season update that is expected to make improvements to the "Call of Duty Cold War's" new online modes. Another new weapon is called a Wakizashi and this is described as a certain companion swords to the popular Samurai katana.

This is said to be a steel sword packed with a much better reach compared to the typical knife. Of course, it still comes at an expense and this time, it's speed. Players will be able to unlock this weapon through a certain in-game challenge and finally, players will be able to level it up for both camps and XP.

There is also a new operator that is called Zeyna Ossou who is expected to come out from January 21. She is a Mobility and Heavy Weapons specialist coming from Senegal and is also playable in both the Cold War and Warzone, according to an article by RepublicWorld.

'Call of Duty Cold War' maps

There will be two more maps that are coming to Multiplayer. The first of these maps are called the Sanatorium which is live as of the moment. There are ten squads made up of four players heading straight to the Ural Plains in a certain objective match.

Activision now says that the upcoming map is going to be a Soviet experiment health retreat. This includes a certain brutalist lakeside hotel. There is also another map that is called the Express which is expected to land on February 4. This particular map is going to be a 6v6 map now returning the favorite from the "Call of Duty Black Ops 2" which is expected to offer close-quarter combat aplenty.

'Call of Duty Cold War' modes

There are also a few more new modes that are expected to be added to the game. One of these is called the Dropkick which is currently live. This one sees teams all competing for the control of a certain briefcase. Activision also describes this as a "nuclear hot potato."

Another game is the Snipers Only Moshpit which is pretty much what it says and is expected to arrive some time later within the season.
