'Genshin Impact' Latest 1.3 Update Brings a New Hero! Here's Xiao's Best Builds and Artifacts You Should Use

Mihoyo, the game's developer, confirmed that Xiao is its latest playable character. His release shocked many fans since they are expecting the arrival of Hu Tao instead.

However, this doesn't mean that the most-awaited Hu Tao won't be included in an upcoming update of the game. On the other hand, Xiao is an Anemo user who wields a polearm weapon. Screen Rant reported that the new hero is also a 5-star Banner character. This means that it is going to be difficult to acquire a new hero. Players of Rank 23 or higher are the only ones that can access Xiao's story content.'

Xiao's play style

According to PC Games' latest report, Xiao can enter the form of "Bane of All Evil," which is his elemental burst skill. The hero will enter his Yaksha form, the demon that terrified other demons and archons.

During this form, his attack range is increased, as well as his damage. His Yaksha form also converts his physical damage into Anemo. It also enhances his jumping ability. However, players need to be careful when using this form since it drains his life.

Here are Xiao's passive talents;

Dissolution Eon (Heaven Fall)

• When Lemniscatic Wind Cycling is used, it increases all subsequent Lemniscatic Wind Cycling's damage by 10% for six seconds (max three stacks). Duration refreshes with new stacks.

Transcension (Gravity Defier)

• Decreases all party members' falling damage by 20%.

Evil Conqueror (Tamer of Demons)

• Starting Bane of All Evil increases Xiao's damage by 5%. After this, Xiao's damage continues to increase by 5% every three seconds until the skill ends (max 25% increase).

Best builds and artifacts

Retracing Bolide

• 2-Piece Set: Increases shield strength by 35%.
• 4-Piece Set: While protected by a shield, Xiao gains an additional 40% normal and charged attack DMG.

Viridescent Venerer

• 2-Piece Set: Anemo DMG bonus of 15%.
• 4-Piece Set: Increases Xiao's DMG by 60%. It also decreases the opponent's elemental RES to the elemental infused in the swirl by 40% for 10 seconds.

Gladiator's Finale

• 2-Piece Set: Xiao's ATK will be increased by 18%.
• 4-Piece Set: Heroes that uses sword, polearm, or claymore, will have an increased normal attack DMG by 35%.

Bloodstained Chivalry

• 2-Piece Set: Xiao's physical damage is increased by 25%.
• 4-Piece Set: After defeating an enemy, Xiao's charged attack DMG will be increased by 50%. It will also reduce his stamina cost up to 0 for 10 seconds.
