Nissan's latest concept is perfect for digital nomads who are looking for an office on wheels to help working remotely easier.

The camper van sales have increased so much during the height of the coronavirus pandemic, as well as backyard office units. Nissan had the brilliant idea of combining both trends into one van-based office pod.

Nissan NV350 caravan office pod is a tiny office that can be transported anywhere. While some of the RV makers have been catering their builds to the new trend of working anywhere, Nissan has decided to develop a full concept office on wheels with the main purpose of serving as a mobile office.

The Nissan NV350 office pod is just one of numerous concept vehicles that Nissan has debuted for the 2021 Tokyo Auto Salon that was done virtually, according to TechNewsTube.

With the return to offices still on hold because of the pandemic, the Nissan concept van is the perfect fit for those who are looking for a change of views throughout the work week.

What is in the van?

The Nissan van has all of the tools that is needed by anyone who is working remotely, including a workstation and a coffee maker. Unlike most camper vans that have amenities hidden inside the vehicle, the office pod of the Nissan van can extend out the rear of the van for some fresh air.

However, for those who prefer to work indoors, the workstation can still be used while it is inside the van. This office space is retractable and it has a keyboard, mouse, monitor on its desk and it comes with a chair.

The best aspects of the Nissan concept van are all hidden in its details. For example, the side edges of the pod will light up so it brightens your workstation when it is already dark outside.

The designer chair enthusiasts will be thrilled to see the concept van's Cosm chair that is made by Herman Miller. If you look down, the floor of the workstation is polycarbonate, according to Top Gear.

According to a report by New Atlas, the flooring is transparent and it provides views of nature below the digital nomad's feet. However, the office space's floor is not the only one that got an upgrade, when the back light hits the carpeted floor mats you will see a pattern of the word "caravan" can be seen.

The Nissan van also comes with electric shades for more privacy and it has a UV light in the glove box that can help sanitize your items. It is a very handy feature as the world is still struggling with the coronavirus pandemic.

For coffee lovers and those that gets work done after having a morning cup of coffee, the Nissan concept van also comes with a coffee maker. This coffee maker is powered by the concept van's inverter.

If you need to take a break from work, you can go outdoors by staying on the roof of the van, which is complete with a lounge chair, side table and umbrella. Also the van's off-road capabilities and the all-terrain tires will give you more freedom to choose the spot where you want to work.
