Samsung One UI 3.1 Update Rolls Out on Galaxy S20 and Other Previous Flagships; S21's Camera Features, More Powerful?

Samsung One UI 3.1 is now rolling out on the company's previous flagships. It is expected that the new system will bring powerful features of the latest Samsung S21 lineup into the 2020 gadgets. These include the camera features of Galaxy S21 flagships.

According to The Verge's latest report, the update will bring new features that are focused on providing some of the software improvement elements that the tech giant manufacturer released for the camera on the advanced S21 lineup to its predecessors.

"Samsung is committed that our devices continue to deliver the up-to-date mobile experiences throughout their lifecycle," said TM Roh, Samsung Electronics president and head of Mobile Communications Business via Samsung Newsroom.

"Following the announcement of 3-generation Android OS upgrades for select Galaxy devices, we ensure to equip our consumers with powerful new features as soon as they are available," he added.

Galaxy S20's new camera features

Previously, One UI 3.1 has brought incredible new camera enhancements on the latest Samsung Galaxy S21 series. These features allowed the users to capture stunning pictures and shoot videos comparable to the ones taken by professional photographers and videographers.

And now, the latest rollout of Samsung's UI 3.1 will also bring these camera capabilities in the older Galaxy S20 versions. People who own the previous Samsung gadgets will have the touch autofocus, autoexposure controller, Single Take, Multi Mic Recording, and other advanced camera features that Samsung Galaxy S21 owners currently enjoy.

Samsung's latest UI 3.1 update will bring Samsung Galaxy S20 and Samsung Galaxy S21 devices even closer to overall functionality. Although this is the case, the latest Samsung smartphone flagships still have a lot of advantages against their predecessors. Why? Because there are still other features that remain exclusive to the latest Samsung Galaxy S21 lineup. These include the director view feature for easily previewing and switching between different lenses. Here are other details you need to know;
