iQO Neo 5 Possible Price and Expected Date of Release

It seems that March would be the tentative launch date of the Neo 5 smartphone. For the Vivo fans, mark your calendar for the next month for the possible release. When it comes to its speculated price, it will start at $462.

Possible Specs of the Leaked Neo 5 Smartphone

According to an article written by Gizmo China's Balaji S, it's been a while since the leak has happened, as some reports said it has come out with a retail box bearing its name.

A Chinese microblogging site, Weibo, was the hotspot of the leaks. A user named Digital Chat Station or @数码闲聊站 in the website unearthed a glimpse of Neo 5's possible specifications.

The retail box image is accentuated with a Black and Yellow pattern under its prominent smartphone brand. Meanwhile, you can see the name of the phone, 'iQOO Neo5,' on one side of the box.

Through its fast-charging chip, iQOO Neo 5 only brags its battery that could hold a 20-V DC with a 3.3A capability. In addition, the leak also revealed an amazing fact that his supercharger can deliver a full charge to your phone for 30 minutes only.

These are all just speculated to happen, so it is still better until the official announcement of Vivo comes out.

Now for its inside features, it is said to contain a 4,400 mAh battery. Additionally, its display could possibly brag an AMOLED type of screen, along with its refresh rate of 120 Hz, so you can now scroll smoothly as well as a much-enhanced animation for your gaming experience.

It is also noteworthy to know that the iQOO Neo 5 will rely on memory fusion technology through its 8GB and 3GB running memory. The said fusion technology will be a bread-and-butter in combining RAM and ROM using optimization of its algorithm.

When you want to consume space for a RAM activity, a part of the ROM will be used so that it may appear to have a larger memory which is the running memory of 3GB. This analogy also dictates that if you use the 8GB memory, you can use an additional running memory so you can have 11GB of space.

Other expected specifications of the leaked Neo 5 Vivo smartphone are its Sony IMX598 triple cameras with varying lenses from 2 MP to 48 MP. It was also rumored to have a Snapdragon 870 processor.

It could also come with the following variants: 8GB + 128GB and 256 GB, as well as a much more spacious 12GB storage with an additional 256GB.

What Does the Early Leak Suggest?

Arsenal, a Weibo user, released in a post that the iQOO Neo 5 will have an 88W fast-charging chip, instead of the latest leak that only reported a 66W ultra-fast charger. With a difference of 22W, it's no wonder that the Vivo smartphone could be one of the most affordable phones with a lightning-speed charging capacity.

It was also mentioned that the phone will have a starting price of $465 instead of its latest expected price of $462, GSM Arena reported.
