The new "PUBG: New State" is set to arrive this year. This means that the popular shooting game is currently expanding, attracting even more fans from Android and iOS. As of the moment, the popular mobile-shooting game has the ambiance of current basic warfare. 

Once the new version is released, a more futuristic setup is expected on the massively multiplayer genre. According to The Verge's latest report, "PUBG: New State" is set in the year 2051. It will bring the current "PUBG: Mobile" players on a new map called Troi.

This new map is expected to bring a slew of near-future vehicles, weapons, and other items. These could even include drones and deployable combat shields.

'PUBG: New State' possible look and release date

Since it will have a more futuristic ambiance, the new "PUBG: New State' is expected to be more like "Call of Duty: Black Ops 3" and "Call of Duty: Black Ops 4." The new version also means that the developer will now focus more on the game's overall lore universe. However, there is no update yet if it will also update other characters, such as Lunchmeat.

As of the moment, "PUBG: New State" doesn't have a specific release date. But, some rumors claimed that it will arrive sometime this year. On the other hand, the game's upcoming version is also expected to bring in-game weapon customization options. This feature will allow players to modify their weapons within a match.

Other shooting games, such as "Apex Legends" and "Call of Duty: Mobile," also offer in-game customization options. This feature allows players to adjust their weapons based on their enemies' strategies, which will make the game even more challenging and fun.

When it comes to the developer, the upcoming "PUBG: New State" is expected to be developed by PUBG Studio, which is the company that also worked on the popular "PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds," which is accessible through PC and console.

iOS and Android pre-registration info

IGN India reported that iOS and Android pre-registration starts on Feb. 25. However, there is no update regarding the end-date of the pre-registration. On the other hand, Android users won't have to worry if they are still using an old version smartphone. All they need to do is to make sure that their device runs Android 6.0 and above.
