What You Should Know About Tesla Semi Truck

According to a report by Daily Mail, the Tesla Semi was not new anymore among common sightings. It was first revealed in 2017 by Musk, which at the time is still in the process of development. Musk said that the company has been planning to produce more of it in 2021.

However, it took two years before the official release of the electric truck, only to be delayed since the production of the battery appeared to be the cause. Now, Tesla can now sustain the production as the company now managed to make its own battery.

For its appearance, you can first see its silver color and its glossy design at the front, where the Tesla logo sits. You can also look for the logo at the center of the hood. Its bulky facade could be a train's front in disguise, but what's amazing is how it can move without producing a loud sound.

In a report by Teslarati's Simon Alvarez, the Semi truck boasted its Model 3 electric motors which were the keys why this huge vehicle does not generate a zooming sound upon driving

Musk knew that Tesla should embrace the new technology that is why he chose to avoid the mechanism used by the traditional diesel models. The Semi truck can reach a distance of up to 300 miles on one charge through its firm and fully-powered battery.

In the future, Musk hopes that the vehicle can exceed what the vehicles can do, usually those that can race up to 1,000 miles provided that they are fully-fueled.

What the CEO Said About Tesla Truck

For the past years, the Tesla truck has been around through several tests and sightings, but according to the CEO, it could land on the market this 2021.

The batteries which power the monster truck were released at the same time as the company's battery day in September last year. For Musk, his presentation could change the common perspective of loud horns when it comes to cars, so this product can spell a big difference to the automotive industry.

Besides, the Semi truck, Musk also featured the Cybertruck, a state-of-the-art truck that can wallop through the ranks of the sports cars.

The futuristic truck is reportedly having a 4860 battery, which is six times more superior to its normal counterpart. Regarding the design of the vehicle, the introduction of laser pattern was made possible through the traditional batteries where the existing foils were gathered.

Since it is reliant on electricity, it just needs fewer parts and a much more convenient electrical path length which made it an easy product to create.

Musk explained that if you deduct the distance that the electron can travel, the cell will not heat up like it usually does since it has a shorter path for circulation. The length of the cell is 80 mm, making it much bigger than the usual., but its power is far more dominant than the smaller ones.

The Tesla CEO admitted that the said task is difficult to do and nobody has accomplished it before. He added that Tesla consumed a lot of time to engineer it and to see if it can work the way they expected it to operate.
