We have gone through some major developments in some of the famous psychological horror games like "Silent Hill," "Visage," "Amnesia," and more similar games over the past years.

Now, Spanish video game developer JanduSoft decided to create a new horror game, "Evil Inside," which will be a first-person horror adventure about a character who will wander around a house in search of the 'mystery' that he can identify by himself.

The game was inspired by the "Silent Hills" playable teaser (PT), so once you play its demo, you will immediately notice the striking similarity between the two.

What's the Story About 'Evil Inside?'

'Evil Inside' is now available for demo.

In a report by Happy Gamer, the game works like a classic horror game, where flickering lights are common. At each crunch of a footstep, the character only grows curious about what unknown figure is following him.

There is a part in the house when a silhouette appears to be a clown who died from suicide. It hangs from the chandelier, and the only thing that you will see after that is a full bright light after passing in the hallway.

"Evil Inside" heavily borrows elements from Hideo Kojima's "Silent Hill's "PT, which shares the same thrill and chill for a more exciting horror experience.

The trailer might be a mishmash of PT and other psychological horror games, but "Evil Inside" immerses its players to think and plan on what is really ahead of them.

The atmosphere of the game is set with the same vibe from PT. The only thing you can do is ponder the darkness that only gets bigger as you walk around the house.

Now for the brief story of the game, Jandusoft announced on Steam that Mark's main character has been grieving over the loss of his mother. Meanwhile, his father is believed to be the killer behind the tragedy, and that sent him to investigate what really happened to his mother.

As he uncovered the truth, he saw a Spiritual board in the house. Little did he know that a small board will be the start of the paranormal events that he does not imagine happening. The addition of the board only sparks the intensity brought by the horror game to the players.

Mark starts his journey

Since Mark cannot back out anymore in this paranormal trap, his main objective is to gather all fragments of the Ouija board for him to summon Rose, his late mother. Jandusoft did a good job in this since this segment seems to create mixed emotions among the players.

This is also an admirable deed for a son who only wants to keep in touch with this mother for the last time. Until then, Mark does not even yet know that what lies ahead is purely evil and dangerous. The house where he walks is cloaked in evil spirits and dark mysteries that are only waiting to be unveiled.

Although the game might seem cliche to many, Mark will begin his adventure in a series of nightmares. This is where he discovers that the "Evil Inside" is a crippling reality that he needs to face.

If you already played a lot of games like this, you will surely want to make comparisons out of your observations. You do not want the spine-chilling jumpscares and heart-wrecking tasks, so do not let this moment pass and try the game's playable demo now available on Steam.
