"Fortnite" players are indeed coming to a new era with a mysterious dimension-bending orb that Galactus tried to eat in the previous season. The Zero Point orb has been summoning characters from various realities such as "The Walking Dead," "Star Wars," "Terminator," "Tron," "Marvel," and "DC Comics."

However, answers about why is this happening are bleak, but one Twitter user had provided information about this "Zero Point event in "Fortnite."

'Fornite': Zero Point' Tied to 'Batman Comic Mini-series

A Twitter user named Shiiina BR posted on the social media platform about what is going on in "Fortnite" recently. The Twitter user stated that the timeline in which the "Batman" comics will be released is concurrent with the events happening on the island at that time. Shiiina continued that there will always be things happening on the island in "Fortnite Season 6" that readers can see in the comics.

With that said, the upcoming "Fortnite Season 6" might be heavily-inspired by DC Comics with the Battle Royale game releasing DC characters such as Poison Ivy, Harley Quinn, and more recently.

However, Shiiina pointed out that the upcoming "Fortnite Season 6" will focus on a DC-themed season and is still unconfirmed. "Fortnite" players may take this news with a grain of salt.

DC Comics previously announced that the company and "Fortnite" would collaborate and expand the lore of the Battle Royale game with a six mini-series issue that would take the legendary Dark Knight, Batman, to the "Fortnite" world and story.

The "Batman/Fortnite: Zero Point" comics would explain the giant warp hole that is seen in the game, why is it there in the first place, and Batman could be the answer in stopping the energy sphere in the sky.

The Writer of the upcoming comic crossover, Christos Gage stated that the six-part comic series would reveal things about "Fortnite" that players have never been seen or heard before yet, which is a much part of the game's canon storyline.

Gage continued that he is looking forward to integrating other DC characters into the "Fortnite" mini-series that Batman has existing relations with and it will be exciting to share with fans how these relationships will be reshaped in this new world.

Forbes believes that the game developers, Epic Games, is trying to create a Metaverse in "Fortnite" that is heavily-inspired by Stephen King's book, "The Dark Tower," in which all realities are connected in a single-layered plane.

This is different than the Multiverse that DC Comics and Marvel have done in their respective creative purposes, which every TV Movie, game IP everyone has ever heard of, or even real-life figures from streamers to musicians to athletes converge into one universe in the game.

'Fortnite Season 6' New Feature Leaked

A new "Fortnite" feature has possibly leaked right now as Comicbook reports that players can sell their loot, weapons, and more from the game's NPCs (Non-playable Characters). However, this option still had not been added to the game. But, there are rumors that this new feature will be coming to the Battled Rolaye's Season 6 update.

Twitter user HypeX posted on the social media app that players can interact with NPCs with a money bag icon and players sell an expensive item the NPC is supposed to do the "Make it Rain" emote. The leaker stated that it has no idea if this feature will have limits to sell or buy loot in "Fortnite."

The "Fortnite Season 6" update will be release on Tuesday, March 16 since Season 5 is set to end on March 15.
