Apple has teamed up with two Los Angeles-based restaurants to offer free pizza this weekend. This is in celebration of the second-season finale of the show "Servant" streaming on Apple TV+.

The promotion pays homage to "Cheezus Crust," a fictional pizza delivery business in the show.

Apple teams up with LA restaurants

According to MacRumors, fans of the show in Los Angeles can order the free pizza from Gjelina or from Milo & Olive through Grubhub, with the offer lasting through Mar. 21 or until the supplies last.

The pizza toppings include duck sausage, shimeji mushroom, confit leeks, nameko mushrooms, thyme, and mozzarella. This echoes the use of occasionally unusual food in "Servant."

The pizza is listed at $30, but the discounted rate will be applied at checkout.

The show "Servant" is a horror-thriller produced by M. Night Shyamalan. It follows a Philadelphia couple who are in mourning after they lost their child.

Their baby, Jericho, is replaced by a reborn doll that the mother, whose name is Dorothy, thinks is real. A strange nanny, Leanne, is then hired to look after the doll. After Leanne's arrival, bizarre things started happening to the family.

"Servant" is one of the first series on Apple TV+, and it was very popular with the platform's subscribers. Apple then renewed the show for a third season in December 2020.

Apple TV+ promo

Serving pizzas to the fans of the show "Servant" is not the only promo that the streaming platform is offering. If you wish to check out Apple TV+ and its original contents, you can get the platform for free for a full year on your iPhone, Apple TV, Mac, and more.

Any Apple customers who have bought a new iPhone, iPad, Mac, iPod touch, or Apple TV since September 2020 will get a free year of Apple TV+, as noted by 9to5Mac.

The deal will automatically show up for those eligible. For those that previously took advantage of a free year starting in 2019, the promo will be extended for three months.

Even if you are not eligible for the free year trial, you can get the platform for free for seven days.

Just open the TV app on your iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch, Apple TV, or Mac. If you do not get the prompt about your free year automatically, tap or click on a new Apple original show.

You can then choose the year free service, and it will show as a "7-day free trial" for those who have not bought a new device. Just tap or click on Continue, then Confirm the free service.

Alternately, head to tv.apple.com on a Mac or PC, sign in on your account on the top right corner and activate your free trial. If you currently have a discounted Apple Music student plan, you won't see a button for the free trial; Apple TV+ will just be unlocked, as per MacWorld.

So, what can you expect once you get the Apple TV+ service?

There are tons of award-winning and original shows that you can enjoy such as "Dickenson" starring Hailee Steinfeld, "The Morning Show" starring Reese Witherspoon and Jennifer Aniston, as well as "Oprah's Book Club" starring Oprah and special celebrity guests.
