It is an undeniable fact that all of us continue to be affected by the global pandemic called Coronavirus, that first entered our lives in 2019. Many of us began working from home; we stopped going to malls and hotels; and there are no longer any plans of meeting up friends at the coffee shop. What this essentially tells us is that we are no longer at the liberty of enjoying leisure like we used to. Not just that! The COVID-19 pandemic had also deprived human beings of maintaining social relationships and connections in the physical world.

You may be wondering if people are no longer having fun and enjoying their free time. That is not true at all. Human beings are known to adapt to whatever life throws at us and that is what we have collectively done, since the pandemic created a strong impact on our daily lives. People have turned towards the internet and social media platforms to get entertained and remain connected to loved ones.

While social media was a crucial part even before the advent of the pandemic, what changed is the way in which the general public consumes content. In the last two years, there has been a 52% increase in the amount of video-based content that people consume each week. This signifies that live streaming is an effective tool that is now used to disseminate various forms of content. The role that social media played throughout the pandemic cannot be understated. In essence, it functioned as the source of livelihood for millions of people across the world. This was mostly achieved with the popularity of live streaming and on average, this mode of communication provided an opportunity for 20% of live streamers, who did not have an opportunity to partake in events because of the pandemic.

This trend was spearheaded by Dood Live Stream in 2020, as it became a channel of communication and ensured that performers could still make money as the world battled with the virus. In fact, it highly contributed to the shift, which was extremely significant. In fact, there has been an increase in searches for live streaming platforms by about three to five times, when one looks at the statistics before and after March 2020.

According to the founder and CEO of Dood Live Stream, Vlad Rigenco, the company was founded with the goal of providing entertainers with a virtual platform that they could use to engage with their fans and showcase their talent, in return for an income. Essentially, the platform functioned like real-world shows or events, wherein audiences are required to pay for the ticket.  While live streaming was a feature that Facebook and Instagram already offered, Rigenco was not satisfied with its usage as he believed that artists must receive their fair share of money for entertaining people throughout the crisis. As a result, he established Dood Live Stream, which is a live entertainment platform that enables musicians and artists to earn through performances.

"I truly believe that you should not do anything for free, especially if you are good at it. If people are willing to pay to see you, they must be charged," Rigenco explained.

Dood Live Stream is meant for artists and musicians who used to earn by performing for large audiences on tours. However, artists can no longer go on tours or even perform in auditoriums. Thankfully, Dood Live Stream allows them to continue earning for their talent. The only difference is that, the medium is new. This is very convenient, as artists can now perform at the comfort of their own homes. Not just that! It is great for audiences as well. Regardless of where they are, they can enjoy the best view.

The platform enables entertainers to monetize their content in different ways. They can sell ticketed shows and they can create content that is only meant for paid users. This type of content is called premium content. The platform is also interactive and ensures optimal engagement.

This specific platform is preferred by artists as setting up an account has never been easier. Moreover, there are very few constraints. For instance, Facebook allows merely four hours of streaming is permitted on mobile devices, while in the case of Twitch, these number goes up to 48 hours. However, there is no such restriction on Dood Live Stream, making it a seamless experience. This is an amazing addition, for both audiences and performers.

Not just that- the differentiating parameter of this platform is that it is possible for streaming to occur on several devices and platforms. How does that help? As you know, not every individual uses every platform. Hence, the reach of performers of Dood Live Stream is enhanced with this feature. Consumers also find it very convenient, as they don't need to go through the annoying process of creating new accounts to watch their favorite artists.

Future Looks Bright for Live Streaming Content Creators

One cannot overlook the advantages offered by this modern form of sharing content. Audiences consider it to be raw and authentic, and it establishes an immediate connection between the artists and the audiences. While live concerts are undeniably exhilarating, one cannot help but notice the benefits that live streaming offers over it. The app records everything, which means that each person's presence in a show is imprinted in history forever.

Not just that. Dood Live Stream has become an effective platform that promotes networking among artists and musicians, which can help enhance their careers and skills.

Rigenco believes that this new platform can function as a disruptive force in the industry. However, is live streaming here to stay? According to studies, by 2022, 82% of internet use will be attributed to video streaming. This number falls to 79%, when it comes to mobile phone users. This only becomes better, as advent of 5G will potentially raise the revenue generated from streaming on mobile devices by 85% from 2021 to 2028.

When it comes to Dood Live Stream, it stands to benefit the most due to the copyrights that it holds and the fact that it appeals to everyone in the industry- both veterans and novices.
