The Xbox Series X controller is an accessory meant to act as the main control for playing games in the latest console from Microsoft, but they are also available to be used and connected with other devices. One of its most notable pairings is with the iOS's iPhone and iPad devices which elevates gaming and gives a different experience for mobile gaming.

There are different applications where the Xbox Series X may help in elevating the game and assisting on different controls, and it is not shy for gaming via an iPhone or iPad despite not being that open to most accessories. While initially, the iOS's Bluetooth is picky and limited, the arrival of the iOS 14 changed that, allowing the connection of these peripherals.

It is important to note that the iPhone or iPad should be running the latest iOS version, or at least the iOS 14.5 (alternatively, iPadOS 14.5) to get started and have this function available. Most gaming console controllers are applicable to be connected, may it be the Xbox One Controller, or PlayStation's DualSense for the PS5, or DualShock 4 for the PS4.
