'Destiny 2' Players Say Proving Grounds is the Hardest Strike: Season of the Chosen Week 8 Challenges Guide

According to Forbes' latest report, some players claim that this could be the most brutal strike of the game, thus far. Right now, it is included in other difficult Nightfall strikes such as Glassway and The Corrupted.

Here are the two main reasons why it is very difficult to complete.

Reasons why Proving Grounds is the hardest strike

Game analysts claim that there are two main reasons why this new Nightfall strike is really hard. The first one is its Tank Room, which has two major waves.

The section's first wave includes snipers, Barrier Colossi, yellow bar enemies, grenade-throwing red bars, and interceptors. Although there are some covers you can use to protect yourself, there is still a high chance that these enemies will kill you.

The second wave includes two tanks, making this part the hardest one in The Tank Room. These enemies will automatically appear in the back. They can also easily shoot you. What makes this harder is that they will continuously attack you until more barriers, ads, dogs, and snipers spawn.

On the other hand, the second reason that makes the Proving Grounds really hard is its The Boss Room section. Players claimed that this area is way harder than The Tank Room. The main reason behind this is because the boss enemy will keep on sending fireballs, which will track you wherever you go, even when you hide.

The only thing you can do is dodge them. However, evading the boss' attacks will be hard since there will be new waves of unstoppable Incinerators.

On the other hand, "Destiny 2" Week 8 Seasonal challenges for the latest Season of the Chose have arrived previously on Mar. 30, as reported by Polygon. Here's a quick guide.

Legendary Lost Sector Variety Attack

This challenge requires players to fight against the Legendary Lost Sectors' enemies. They need to use sniper rifles, rocket launchers, submachine guns, and more.

Lenses Focus

Unlike other missions, this one requires you to unlock ten lenses. You can do this by visiting the Prismatic Caster. However, you still need to defeat the enemies using specific weapons from Season of the Chosen.

Decisive Strike

On the other hand, this mission needs the players to get the Panacea ornament. This item is necessary for the Salvager's Salvo grenade launcher.

Clearing the Inner Circle

This mission requires you to defeat a total of 40 Primeval Envoys. This means that you need to play a lot of Gambit to complete the challenge.

Trial by Firing Squad

If you want to complete this challenge, you need to win a total of seven rounds in the Trials of Osiris. Once you finish this mission, you will have the Trials of Osiris weapon.
