Amazon News App

The Amazon news app is a "free and customizable" news aggregator supported by advertisements. The app is free and included by default into the Fire TV as well as on all Fire TV streaming media players and smart TVs in the United States. When users open the app for the first time, they can select the news that matters most to them, both from local and national sources.

As of March 2021, the Amazon news app has expanded its local coverage - starting with major US cities such as New York and Los Angeles - now to include local news stations from more cities including Detroit, Phoenix, New Orleans, Salt Lake City, and Orlando.
