Previously, the OnePlus 9 and OnePlus 9 Pro received OxygenOS 126.96.36.199 update. This version specifically fixed the recent Camera app overheating issues. Aside from this, the predecessor of OxygenOS 188.8.131.52 also greatly improved both of these devices' batteries.
And now, the new version is expected to bring more advanced features that will further enhance the performance of these two Chinese smartphones.

How to check its availability
If you own an OnePlus 9 and OnePlus 9 Pro, then you can just wait for the notification stating that the new OxygenOS 126.96.36.199 is already available on your mobile device. However, there are certain instances when the notification will not appear on your screen.
Although this is the case, there's still one thing you can do. You can just check OxygenOS 188.8.131.52's availability manually.
To do this, you can go to your device's Settings option.
After that, you need to click the System button and choose the System Updates option. Once you are there, the last thing you need to do is load your OxygenOS and check if the new 184.108.40.206 version is available for installation.
