TikTok wants to do more than just posting dance videos. As the app is growing in popularity, more and more creators join in.

Now, there are creators that are offering career advice and posting videos about job hunting. Because of this, the app is creating a tool that will help users land a job on their platform.

TikTok Job Tool

The social media app is testing a recruitment tool to help people find jobs and companies and recruiters to hire strong candidates.

The new tool will not be a part of the TikTok app itself. Instead, the company will create a separate webpage where users can post job listings, most of which will be of entry-level positions.

Since the tool is under the TikTok platform, users can post a video resume instead of the traditional written ones. Users can also add their resume videos to their TikTok tool profile.

Given how much time many young adults spend on TikTok, it could be a great way for brands to reach out to the younger generation and those they are looking to hire.

TikTok has not released any statement regarding the matter. According to CNET, the service is being tested with a beta group of companies, including several big brands and sports leagues.

LinkedIn Service

TikTok's new tool is not the first service to let users post their resumes online. The networking service LinkedIn is known to help people find jobs online, according to Business Insider.

Just like Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and other social media apps, LinkedIn is a social network. Owned by Microsoft. LinkedIn is a professional networking site created to help people make business connections, share their work experiences, their resumes, and find jobs.

Despite the its professional focus, LinkedIn is very similar to social networking sites like Facebook. It is based on practices like adding and connecting users, posting updates, sharing and liking content, as well as instant messaging other users.

LinkedIn also puts a professional spin on features that users know from Facebook. For example, a user's profile becomes a resume, complete with their work experience, recommendations, accomplishments, and referrals.

The site also offers things that users won't find in other social media sites, like a full-featured career board, where people can search for jobs that they want to apply for.

Many employment services are now compatible with LinkedIn. When applying for a position, people may share their LinkedIn profile. This means that users won't need to enter their entire work experience into a long online form every single time they apply for a position.

Basically, LinkedIn is a tool that people can use to enhance their professional networking and job searching activities.

A lot of people use the site to grow their contacts and find career opportunities online, and the Jobs section of the site is a useful tool for finding and applying for jobs.

These settings on LinkedIn notify recruiters about users who are actively seeking for a job. In addition, some people use LinkedIn to enhance their professional reputation by creating posts in the site's news feed and commenting on other people's posts.
