Games With Gold fans will have some free Xbox Series X and Xbox One titles this coming August. Aside from the popular games, some rumors also claimed that Microsoft would add a new Xbox Series X optimized game to the upcoming free title lineup.

As of the moment, the tech giant developer hasn't confirmed the exact arrival date of the upcoming Games With Gold's free titles. But, there's a high chance Microsoft will announce the release date before July ends.
Back in 2020, the giant tech firm also did the same thing with its recent title program. Microsoft confirmed the release date of its previous free titles before August arrived.
On the other hand, various news sources confirmed the two games that will be included first in the Games With Gold lineup. They also claimed subscribers could also download them this coming Sunday, August 1.
Games With Gold 2021's Free Title Lineup
According to Express UK's latest report, the first two Games With Gold 2021 free titles will specifically be "Planet Alpha" and "Conker: Live and Reloaded." On the other hand, various leakers claimed that another title batch would follow the two games.

Aside from the two titles, Microsoft also confirmed that "Rock of Ages 3: Make and Break" will still be available on Games With Gold until Aug. 6. But, this could still change since the tech giant company has a habit of changing the title lineup impromptu.
Meanwhile, the upcoming game event will also highlight other popular titles such as "Dungeons 3," "Gears 5," and "Little Nightmares." On the other hand, Games With Gold subscribers are also expecting Microsoft to release Xbox Series X titles this coming August.
The current candidates for the event are "Minecraft Dungeons," "State of Decay 2," "Grounded," and "Halo: The Master Chief Collection." But, this could still change depending on Microsoft's final decision.
The recent Games With Gold 2020 disappointed some subscribers since the titles they were asking from the giant tech developer were not included in the previous game lineup. It is still early to conclude that the 2021 version of the event will be different.
Xbox Ultimate Game Sale To Offer 90% Discount
Aside from Games With Gold event, Microsoft will also offer some Xbox titles with up to 90% discount in its upcoming Ultimate Game Sale 2021.
Screen Rant reported that the annual summer sale event could offer around 700 discounted games. On the other hand, there will also be some discounted titles that will be exclusive for Game Pass Ultimate subscribers.
"Ultimate Game Sale is back for a limited time with hot deals on select Xbox and PC games and accessories," said Microsoft via its Xbox Wire Twitter account.
