Given foldable phones needed a much more flexible display than conventional mobile handhelds due to their tuckable mechanism, repairing its screen is obviously more expensive.

To cut to the chase, here are some of the screen cost ranges of the popular foldable devices that you might want to look into before copping one.

The Z Fold 3 is the latest device that Samsung introduced during its Galaxy Unpacked event last Aug. 11, alongside the new S-Pen, and Galaxy Watch 4.

The latest flagship foldable boasts a Snapdragon 888 SoC, a remarkable under-display front camera for selfies and video calls, and an S Pen support, which was previously exclusively available for Note devices.

Not to mention that the display of the Z Fold 3 also got a noteworthy improvement. Samsung touts that its foldable screen is much tougher than its predecessor, the Z Fold 2.

However, the South Korean phone maker did not claim that the new screen of the Z Fold 3 is unbreakable. Dropping it at high altitudes or smashing it with a hard object is still likely to break it into pieces.

Breaking its supposedly durable foldable display will cost you about $480-$500, Samsung told The Verge.
