MOSCOW, RUSSIA - 2020/12/10: Cyberpunk promo seen at the entrance to the video game store. Cyberpunk 2077 is a 2020 action role-playing video game on sale worldwide. In Russia it has become the most anticipated game in 2020.

According to a Twitter leaker and insider, CD Projekt Red is planning to release the "Cyberpunk 2077" PlayStation 5 version this year, and it is soon coming. It is important to note that this is a leak and that the details regarding the game's release come from hearsays and speculations by the insider for its upcoming version.

The leaker said that they think that the PS5 version will come this late February or early March, bringing the next-gen version of the famed futuristic game.

However, it remains a rumor only and something that CD Projekt Red did not yet confirm on its announcements or press releases.

"Cyberpunk 2077" indeed was popular during its first release, and it is because many gamers and enthusiasts believed that it would be the game to redefine society. However, many got disappointed with how the title turned out despite more than eight years into conceptualization, design, and production.

There has been massive scrutiny that CD Projekt Red faced for the game, and after some time, people called it a flop for what it offers.

'Cyberpunk 2077' and its Open World Action

CD Projekt Red ensured that 2021 was not the year for the next-gen versions of its games, but it did not mention anything about 2022's release for these awaited takes. The games include "The Witcher 3" and "Cyberpunk 2077," which are both AAA-rated games from the company, also awaited by fans for their modern consoles.

Despite the many disputes and mixed reviews of "Cyberpunk 2077," it initially received one of the best-selling game titles from Sony on the PS4 platform back in July. It is important to note that this PS4 version is backwards compatible with the PS5 and is available for gaming for all eager to play it on their latest console.

The open-world RPG action of "Cyberpunk 2077" is one of its most featured content in the game as it combines the futuristic dystopian setup to the likes of "Grand Theft Auto," another beloved title. Nevertheless, CD Projekt Red's "Cyberpunk 2077" also features a story mode that brings players into the perspective of the future and the many crimes happening in it.

Soon, it may be available on its next-gen versions to accommodate proper gaming integrations.
