Gamers will discover hidden things in games, even if it takes pulling the game apart and going out of the bounds of the game.

Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare players have discovered a weapon called WEAPON_RPG that can be used in the game, despite being extremely glitchy.

All signs point to the weapon being there by mistake, with the games developers likely meaning to remove it before the game was released. First of all, the name of the weapon is really just a placeholder. Not only that, but it's silent when fired and, if it is fired at something, it really doesn't do much damage. Not only that, but the weapon is completely different from most other weapons in the game, which tend to be more technologically advanced than a simple RPG, or rocket-propelled grenade.

The weapon is found way off from where the player is supposed to be when they're playing the game, on top of a building in a level called "Throttle." A tutorial on how to find the weapon can be found here.

This isn't the only Easter egg that can be found in the game, placed there intentionally or unintentionally. For users who don't want to wait or pay to access zombies in the game, there is another way. The user first has to unlock all of the Exo Survival maps in the game. They then have to beat 10 rounds on the tier 4 map called Riot. The eleventh round will summon the zombies. Users will then also be able to access a number of bonus multiplayer skins for their character.

Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare was first released in November 2014, and is based in the year 2054. It is the first Call of Duty game set in the future, making it quite different than the other games in the series. It has received very favorable reviews since its release, and became the best-selling retail game in the U.S. in 2014, despite being released so late in the year.

The game is also set to receive a number of map packs to expand gameplay. The first is called Havoc, which will be released alongside a downloadable pack featuring zombies on Jan. 27. The other three are called Ascendance, Supremacy and Reckoning. These three downloadable packs have not yet been given a release date.

Apart from the story mode, users can also play online against other players of the game. The first season of this online competition, called Ranked Play, is currently running, and will end on Jan. 31. It includes players completing against four other players in Search and Destroy games, Capture the Flag, Uplink and Hardpoint games.
