NVIDIA's graphics card (GPU) received a fix for mining Ethereum on its systems but is a malware which experts say is a trap for wanting to fix the Light Hash Rate software. Instead of mining the coin properly, users will have the malicious program available on their device and have it disrupt their operations instead of helping them solve the issue.

YouTube's "Red Panda Mining LIVE!" shared a video from their mining group that software that promises to fix NVIDIA's GPU mining caps is actually a malware that waits for its victims. Installing the software is a guarantee that the virus would latch itself in different systems of the computer and wait for opportunities to steal different information, including cryptocurrency.

The software promises to remove NVIDIA's Light Hash Rate that ensures no one will use the graphics processing unit for anything related to cryptocurrency.

The company's GPUs remain to deter cryptocurrency mining at all costs, preventing miners to avoid purchasing or hoarding the GPU for their needs regarding the blockchain.

Crypto Mining Malware and NVIDIA's LHR

Cryptocurrency is a massive operation in the country and many users work to dig deep on the different platforms and places on the internet to gather the decentralized currency for their earnings. However, it could also hold malware and focus on stealing from users instead of helping their assets grow, with many people not careful in falling for the trap

People are intent to earn a lot as cryptocurrency is a significant factor in the market now and its growth is rapidly increasing for investors and users taking their stakes in the next-generation form of money. It is important to note that people should focus on being careful on their mining processes, especially as different hackers target massive platforms including Coinbase and MetaMask

NVIDIA's Light Hash Rate is a massive barrier that prevents users from mining cryptocurrency using its GPUs in the current industry and many people want to bypass it for their usage. However, not being careful during this time will be more of a liability instead of earning through the process, now that malware is present in the system that fakes help.
