Apple Watch's WaterMinder app released the 5.1 updates this week. Here's what you need to see.

The widely-used hydration tracking app received new improvements following the arrival of its latest version. Aside from water, it allows the user to track beverage consumption for soda, alcohol, and coffee.

The WaterMinder watchOS application brought a new design for proper integration with SwiftUT, according to a report from 9to5Mac on Wednesday, March 16.

For WaterMinder users, the app is notable for its customization wherein you can see your water drinking progress throughout the day. The design complements its function thanks to the removal of the bar graph which was previously used as a tracking indicator in iOS-based devices such as iPad and iPhone.

Interestingly, this hydration app can also show you the percentage of your goal as you consume the liquid.

Moreover, you will see the total amount of consumed water or beverage, as well here. These all start with just a single click on your character. A corresponding label will appear and replace it with the amount of liquid that you still need to intake for your daily goal.

When you take a peek on the right side of the Apple Watch screen, you will notice various drink presets that are all configurable in your iPhone or iPad. WaterMinder 5.1 also brought the "Other" button which makes switching into different drink types easier, per Mac Stories.

To give more color to your Achievements, the new WaterMinder update lets you add cool animations to them.

There's more for this update other than the "Other Drink Picker" screen. WaterMinder also incorporated a water fill indicator where you can glimpse the suggested water level goal on your logs.

If you want to refrain from using this feature, you can switch it off by going to the Settings, then to the Home Screen. After that, select, Water Level Indicator.

To get started with WaterMinder, you can download it in the App Store for $4.99.
