Apple's iCloud is now down for the second time around in the span of just two days.

Apple Services and Apps are Down

According to the story by AppleInsider, the Cupertino-based tech giant has been hit with yet another round of outages. Popular apps that have been affected include its Podcasts and Apple Music, as well as the App Stores for both the iOS and macOS.

The particular outage happened at 5:09 p.m. ET with a lot of Apple services going offline. The publication notes that it has only two days since the tech giant saw its first round of outages before this.

User Experiences Half of Their Songs Down on Apple Music

Most users go on social media to share the outage and check whether others are experiencing the same problem. One Twitter account even noted that half of their songs were no longer available on Apple Music.

This is particularly interesting due to the fact that only half of the songs were affected. Although there is no confirmation as to why the other half stayed online, the Tweet was asking for help regarding the issue.

App Store and Mac App Store is Down

Apple gave an announcement as to which services have been affected. They include some of the most important apps within the ecosystem, namely the App Store and Mac App Store. These are the ones commonly used to download new apps and as Apple's marketplace for customers.

Aside from the App Stores on both iOS and macOS, other entertainment apps were also down, including Apple Music, Podcasts, and even Apple Books.

As for situations like the user who tweeted above, however, there was little to no news regarding just half of the selection being available.

Apple iCloud Web Apps Down

Not only were the aforementioned down, but so were the Apple iCloud Web Apps that are integral for certain companies to function. Other services that were down during the outage include Apple Card, Weather, and even the Apple Game Center.

As explained by AppleInsider's article, the outage might have different effects on different users. While some users still experienced "normal access" for a number of the Apple apps, it could not be said for everyone. Other users were still greatly affected.

Apple Services are Back Up

Luckily, the outage did not last that long and, as of 6:28 p.m. ET, the services were back online. This means that it took just a little over an hour for Apple to get its services back online.

The services that have been restored include Apple Weather, Game Center, and iCloud Web Apps. With the iCloud Web Apps back up, companies and individuals relying on this service can start using them once again.
