A report by the Wall Street Journal first revealed that New York sees a new venture from Uber, and it would be the integration of the app to its taxi cab industry that is famous in the state. The case is that New York taxis will be included in the app, and the drivers may now see what to expect on the trip and decide if it is for them to take.
Before this venture, taxis go on their way to going around the city and picking up passengers from spots they know have high volume for those who will hail a cab towards their destinations. Now, they have a chance to use the application and select a rider and their destination, also reflecting the fare that the trip would generate for their drive.
