As spotted, an electric-powered boat that has a built-in submarine capsule was selling for $8,000 and as per description, the EV is capable of carrying four people with a four hour running time.
Alibaba Sells Electric Boat with Submarine Capsule
Electrek described the electric boat with a submarine capsule as it looked closely like a lower deck or boat basement. The author of the post said he was not sure if he used the correct definition of it.
Based on the official Alibaba posting, the electric boat with a submersible capsule is called the Ecocampor Mariner 4 Inflatable Submarine Tour Aluminum Small Jet Ski Boat. While the product's name is quite a handful, the words submarine, jet ski, boat, and inflatable were mashed together to describe the product.
How Much Does an Electric Boat with a Submarine Capsule Cost
The posting details that for over two units, the price of the electric vehicles would be $8,000. Quite interestingly, however, the price of a single sample would be $18,000 per unit, meaning buying two would be more affordable than buying one.
Based on the description, the electric vehicle is the best used for breezy calm waters and drifting. The vehicle hosts a 1000W electric motor capable of going 8kmph or almost 5mph, capable of carrying four people at a time.
How Far Will the Submarine Capsule Submerge?
The vehicle uses 2-80AH lithium battery, and as per its place of origin, the EV originated from Guangdong, China. The electric boat is called the SBM 3207 and can run up to four hours.
According to Engadget, should the vehicle function like it is supposed to, instead of being able to reach 20,000 leagues of depth, the riders would only be able to experience 0.00018 leagues of underwater exploration.

When it comes to the propulsion construction of the electric boat, however, the publication notes that there aren't many details available. In addition, the publication notes that two electric motors with propellers attached to power the seemingly odd electric boat.
As per the manufacturer's description, when it comes to the vehicle's "advantages," the vendor notes that the vehicle won't easily be damaged. As Engadget notes, this should be a given due to the submersible submarine capsule attached to the boat.

When browsing through Alibaba, there are already multiple options within the $1,000 to $3,000 price range when it comes to boats alone.
