Team Liquid "WoW" team decided to exit Race For the World's First following its decision to take a break because of mental fatigue.

Several guilds are already creating strategies for the Race to World First competition. It's been a tough year for all "World of Warcraft" players to prepare for this big event. With the right approach for a team, winning this prestigious occasion is just one step ahead.

Following the launch of the "Tomb of Sargeras," many teams found it hard to defeat the bosses. There has to be a new technique to ace them.

Even the top teams were having a difficult time clearing The Jailer, the final boss. It's been nearly a month since its release, but they haven't yet seen any success in surpassing this obstacle except for Team Liquid from North America and Echo Esports from Europe, Sportskeeda reported.

For Team Liquid fans, the latest announcement was clearly devastating since their favorite team won't be joining anymore in the contest. This was confirmed by IGL Maximum during the live stream.

"I have some news. We are f***ing zoiked (laughs)... We were consistent two days ago. It's been hard to get back to that point," he explained.

Furthermore, the "WoW" player cited that the difficulty in overcoming the Tower of Sargeras for a month has affected their mental health (mental fatigue).

With that, the Team Liquid's Maximum added that they would play until dinner on March 27. Moreover, he continued that they would take some time off and focus on other relaxations such as watching a movie, renting out a bowling alley, and traveling home.

Echo Esports Cleared the Sepulcher of the First Ones

As Esports News UK wrote, Echo became the first "World of Warcraft" guild to defeat the latest and the toughest boss in the game. It took the team 277 attempts before subduing the menace.

Following the announcement of Team Liquid to exit the competition because of burnout, Echo members successfully snagged this achievement with their might.

Regarding this feat, Maximum predicted that the said esports team would defeat The Jailer. It indeed took place an hour after he shared his prediction.

For some fans, Team Liquid has done what's right for them. According to one user, the league should add mental health guidelines to avoid unnecessary exits like this.

Another person commented that Team Liquid's decision to take a break is beyond commendable. Although it's an unsuccessful run for a rated A team, resting is crucial for everyone who's suffering from mental fatigue.
