Lotus unveils its latest electric vehicle venture, and it is with the Eletre that the company claims to be the world's first Hyper SUV on the market. The new electric SUV focus on the features and aesthetics that make up the Lotus brand, famously known for its performance and sporty looks that bring a different kind of driving experience for all.

Lotus introduced the world with its new Hyper SUV called "Eletre," and the company is not shying away from the details and performance it brings for everyone. The company aims to get everything that a person can expect from a Lotus, and the company said that this take on the SUV features the qualities of the brand, from its aesthetics to its performance.
The company said that the car would start its manufacturing in the new high-tech plant in China later this year, so expectations for the car's arrival will be in late 2023 or early 2024. Lotus also boasts of the car's features to have everything that a supercar has but in the body of an SUV, making it a Hyper SUV class of electric vehicle.

Lotus Eletre EV: Everything You Need to Know
The Eletre aims to bring an electric SUV like no other, focusing on its 600 horsepower capabilities that the company said is part of the "two-second club" with a zero to 62 mph in less than three seconds. Moreover, the car's finish is one of the world's top aerodynamics in addition to a vehicle with its design called "porosity."
The new Hyper SUV can bring a person to 373 miles worth of travel before it needs recharging, with its batteries that can sustain up to 350kW of charging. Twenty minutes of the fast charger already brings less than 200 miles for the SUV.
Lotus and its EV Focus Now
Lotus is all about speed and performance, and the company capitalized on this branding that made sure it brought recognition and fame to its name. Since then, Lotus became a known name in the industry that is all about track and racing, bringing its powerful vehicles with some not even road-legal due to its insane capabilities.
One of the few arrivals in the US that did not border on electric power is the 2020 Evora GT that still featured a naturally-aspirated V6 engine, steering away from a turbocharged four-cylinder make. However, internal combustion engines (ICEs) are near their expiration date as the world moves to a new focus with electric motors.
The Evora is one of the last takes for ICEs by the company, focusing their efforts and developments on the EV industry, starting with its new platform that debuted clean energy vehicles.
Lotus is moving away from its gas-engine focus and is focusing its ventures on electric vehicles, with the Eletre being the company's third clean energy car to debut in its lineup. The car has ample mileage and power, something that users consider as two of the essential factors in an electric vehicle also has a performance-bred design and capabilities.
