A Razer headwear saves the day for an 18-year-old. It luckily protected him from a stray bullet.

Recently, a Redditor wrote a story on the platform about how he survived an accident involving a stray bullet. As we know, this incident is purely "accidental" which means that the suspect does not have any intentions to shoot the victim.

If you have luck and a bit of tech (device) on your side, the chance of you surviving it could be bigger than usual.

According to the latest report by XDA Developers on Friday, April 1, the Reddit user codenamed u/Enough_Dance_956 shared his near-death experience that took place last Wednesday, March 27.

It was not an April Fools' prank but rather a real-life encounter. The 18-year-old man said that there was a bullet that went through the window of his room. Fortunately, he was not hit by this stray bullet because he was wearing his headset with a head strap.

Particularly, what he's referring to could be the Razer Kraken headset, as one of the users in the Reddit comment section wrote.

The involved person said that he wasn't hit by the bullet. Instead, it deflected to the wall and ricocheted on his bed. Additionally, the bullet allegedly originated from the block way somewhere in California.

What Happened to the Razer Headset

Since the user survived the unexpected event, many users are wondering what happened to the headset. To add, it's quite hard to believe knowing that April Fools' pranks are everywhere.

Enough_Dance_956 showed the pictures of the bullet-hit wall. He also posted the condition of the Razer headset that bore a hole after the encounter. Apparently, the bullet passed through the softcover of the head strap, but it managed to deflect it thanks to its metal component.

With that, it's no wonder that some devices could indeed save us from impending danger through their solid components. This only proved that they could offer enough protection in such a case.

Since Razer's reputation is on the line following this incident, the computer hardware maker offered the Redditor a replacement for his destroyed headset. However, the user turned it down and thanked Razer for its product.

In other news, the video which focuses on the production of the new Gigafactory Berlin was recently released on Twitter, per Tech Times. The official Tesla account uploaded a clip about the "factory tour" on YouTube, as well for people who want to have a look at it.
