Epic Games Store is now showing the achievements of its users to other folks in its online gaming storefront.

Epic Games Store Now Shows Achievements

As per a news story by GameSpot, Epic Games Store introduced its new achievements feature way back in November 2021, wherein some users started accessing their own achievements menu.

But during that time, it has yet to roll out to all of the users of the Epic Games Store.

According to a recent report by PC Gamer, Epic Games Store initially included an achievements feature for some of the gaming titles in the online storefront back in 2020.

Fast forward to 2021, Epic Games has already rolled out its achievement system, which allowed users to track their progress in various games. Epic Achievements multiple tiers that players could attempt to reach, such as Platinum, Gold, Silver, and the least of them all, Bronze.

It is worth noting that during the launch of the Epic Achievements, the tier and XP points could not be seen by other users of the online storefront.

Epic Games Store My Achievements: How it Works

But this time around, Epic Games Store has fully deployed the "My Achievements" page on its latest update, allowing its users to showcase their achievements on various games to their friends on the gaming platform.

That said, users of the Epic Store could now visit profiles of other folks to check out their achievements-which starting today is now publicly viewable to all.

So, if you want to compare your current standing with your friends on the Epic Store, you would no longer have to ask them about it directly.

On top of that, those who have been working their asses off to reach the Platinum tier in the achievements system of Epic Games could now boast their current standing to the public.

The gaming tech giant said in its update noted that "anyone visiting your page will be able to see how many achievements you've unlocked."

What's more, it also reveals both the XP and the tier ranking of its users for each game.

However, PC Gamer noted in the same story that for those who might prefer their achievements to be a private thing, there is also an option to hide them from the public eye. The new feature could be disabled on the privacy controls of the Epic Games Store.
