Before this announcement, the controversial $624 million heist took place in the Ronin Network of the "Axie Infinity" developer. With that being said, Sky Mavis needs to release worthy upgrades so fans could hope that their investments will not go in vain.
This issue is difficult to overcome for the company, but it seems that it is slowly getting into it. According to VentureBeat, Sky Mavis has already raised $150 million in funding from several investors. Although it's not yet enough to cover the losses, it's a great step towards its financial recovery.
Speaking of "Axie Infinity: Origin," Sky Mavis co-founder Jeff Zirlin said that they have released the newest game upgrade this week. This F2P (free-to-play) game is now available for download on PC. However, the mobile version is yet to come.

"We wanted to keep pushing, and we wanted to make progress, and show the community our hard work. So that's why we're going forward with the early access launch this week. And we're really excited about it. I think the community is super excited as well," Zirlin said.
How to Play 'Axie Infinity: Origin'
According to the Axie website from The Lunacian, playing the new "Origins" game is easy. All you need to do is to enter your Mavis Hub account and install the new "Axie Infinity" game right away.
If you want to sync your NFT assets in this new installment, just go to the home screen and tap "Axie." From here, you can now click the sync button which is located in the top right corner.

Another thing that's worth pointing out is the unstable economy of "Axie." When AXS and SLP reached the point of a bear market over the past months, many players complained about Sky Mavis' negligence in releasing updates.
