"Dota 2" has exposed a lot of raw talents throughout the decade. It's been a while since the generational pros came into the league, but there's only a little information about their stories.

One of the most successful young players in the game is SumaiL or Syed Sumail Hassan in real life. This 23-year-old prodigy from Pakistan has already impressed a lot of fans when he first stepped into the big stage.

Get to know SumaiL from Pakistan and how he ascended as one of the greatest "Dota 2" players in the world at a young age.

Various players have different stories to tell as to how they started playing the game. SumaiL has a unique history in his journey towards his greatness in "Dota 2."

In an old clip released by dota2 on YouTube, this young Pakistani player used to be a casual gamer. Like any other kids who aspire to be the best player in the world, SumaiL shares the same vision with them.

His friend said in an interview that they have no means of transportation to go to the gaming zone. That's why they only ride in a small bicycle. This bike is good for one person only, but the group manages to allow up to four persons to ride onto it.

There even comes a time when SumaiL has sold his bike only to play "Dota" for more hours. Since his parents are skeptical about esports, it's become harder to chase his dream yet he did not stop doing what he loves to do.

At a tender age of eight years old, he already began playing "Dota" until his family decided to seek greener pastures in Illinois. By that time, he entered the North American Elite League and he quickly rose to the ladder of some of the "Dota" greats.

SumaiL and His First TI Win

If the NBA has the championship finals and the NFL has the Super Bowl, "Dota 2" boasts having "The International," the most prestigious competition which involves the highest rated teams.

When SumaiL first took his talent to NA, a lot of scouts noticed how good he is. At this point, all eyes are on him and this pushed Evil Geniuses (EG) to recruit him as their Position 2 (mid) player.

The legendary offlaner UNiVeRsE was the one who convinced him to join the squad in 2015. His first run was lackluster but he regained composure during the Dota 2 Asia Championships.

He managed to beat the odds and play his best hero during the competition. After the group stage, EG emerged on top 4 with an 11-4 card, per Liquipedia.

His biggest breakthrough was when he used Storm Spirit. That time, he put EG to the zenith with his gameplay and that's when they finished on the top spot at DAC.

When TI 2015 came, people knew that EG had a chance to grab the aegis of immortality. From ESL One Frankfurt to The Summit 4, the team suffered from drawbacks, but still managed to book a spot to the most elusive "Dota" tournament.

SumaiL and his team fought CDEC in the finals of the TI 5. In the end, they defeated the Chinese squad with his stellar storm play not to mention UNiVeRsE's play on Earthshaker and ppd's impressive performance on Ancient Apparition.

SumaiL and Secret

Currently, SumaiL is now playing for Secret as a midlaner. He came back to his natural position after he played Position last season.

It's still a long run for the team as they continue to brawl with other groups for the upcoming Majors and TI for this year. To date, SumaiL continues to inspire many aspiring "Dota" pro players to never give up on their dreams and continue to work harder as usual.
