Apple analysts and speculators expect that the 'Pill and Hole' notch will come for the iPhone 15, and this one will be the more sure thing as per the leaks from the company's insiders. Previously, there were claims that this new redesign of the notch would come to the iPhone 14, and the question remains today if it would still come for 2022's iPhone.

Apple is Bringing the Pill Notch for the iPhone 15; Speculations

The information came from a famous display consultant and insider, Ross Young, which laid out a roadmap for the iPhone 14 until the iPhone 18 in 2026. He claimed that the first Pill and Hole notch design will come to the iPhone 15's standard models alongside its Pro releases for the upcoming smartphone by 2023.

Young also claimed that there would be a possible "under the panel" Face ID and Hole for the camera come iPhone 16's Pro models that could be launching by 2024, as part of Apple's redesign. The Cupertino giant would change more of what the iPhone would look like as it progresses in the coming years.

According to Mac Rumors, Young is a reputable source regarding displays in the industry, and his tweets or statements have a "respectable track record."

Is the 'Pill and Hole' Still Coming to the iPhone 14?

The question now lies regarding the iPhone 14 having the Pill and Hole notch design, and while not all devices will have it says Young, there are still specific models that will receive the new look. Young claimed that the iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max models would have the new face of the notch, bringing the Pill and Hole design.

It is important to note that this is speculation for the device, and it is not something confirmed by Apple.

Apple and the Many Changes to the iPhone

Apple constantly updates the iPhone with every release it brings to the public now, and according to the Cupertino giant, these are things that bring more for the people that use it. One of the many changes for the iPhone is the screen that it has, and every time there is a new device, there is a specific change on its Super Retina XDR Display that gets brighter and has better color.

There are many rumors regarding the iPhone 14 and its upcoming offers for the public, especially as it is the device that will get a feature for this year's release later in 2022. Rumors say that CAD renders show that it will have a thinner display compared to older iPhones present in the world, despite the iPhone 13 is the closest predecessor.

Three iPhones have already passed to maintain their current design with the device's overall look. However, if basing it on the front screen, it would also be similarly looking to the iPhone X and XS devices. Now, it is the iPhone 14 that will come to the public by the Fall season, with speculation on its pill notch, but sources say it will come to the iPhone 15.
