The tech company said it brings more to what the company promises for the device, but it will allow users to spend less on the low-cost device.
The Google Pixel 6a takes on the design and specs of the Pixel 6 series, and it focuses on the many features that the company tries to achieve for less than its price. Google said that the new 6a device is coming with the Material You design UX for those familiar with the company's interface that completes the smartphone.

Google Pixel 6a: Specs and Release Date
The Google Store already offers the Pixel 6a on its listing. Still, the company said it is officially releasing this Summer season, with its preorders starting by July 21 for the US and Japan region.
Pixel 6a brings an array of specs that it borrowed from the six series, and it gives the public almost the same device but with less to pay for its purchase. It has a metal body design for durability and the iconic camera panel from the Pixel series.

It brings the same Tensor chip that powers the Pixel 6 series and its Pro versions in features like speech recognition, Magic Eraser for its Google Camera, Live Caption, Live translate, and more. The camera got a lower resolution with a 12 MP rear dual camera setup.
Of course, the standard 6 GB memory and 128 GB storage come with its introductory offers.
