The PlayStation exclusive titles included in this venture are the "Horizon" series and "Gran Turismo," which are still looking for takers to claim the project and start its production.

According to CNet, Sony is looking to bring its PlayStation exclusive titles to a different experience than what gamers are used to, and it is with the live-action series that people could watch on streaming platforms. The titles included in their alleged plans would be the "Horizon" series and the "Gran Turismo" franchise.

There are no specific distributors or production houses that Sony has announced for this venture apart from "Horizon." They aim to have a deal with Netflix for its development and streaming. Other PlayStation games are already tied-in with massive production houses, including HBO with "The Last of Us" and Peacock with "Twisted Metal " and "Ghost of Tsushima."

Netflix May Be Eyeing 'Horizon' with PlayStation

Variety released a report saying that Sony is eyeing the massive streaming platform of Netflix to take on "Horizon Zero Dawn," the famous game about this lady hero that saves the native world from machines. Here, it would bring Aloy to the larger screens, and she would be seen going around their territory and fighting against those that try to take it.

Netflix is not shy about developing game titles and bringing the experience from the animated world to a real-life adaptation. No answers from Netflix regarding this project have been revealed.

Sony and its Media and Entertainment

The famous Japanese brand is known for its multinational operations that expand on multimedia, focusing on different available titles. Sony is also renowned for creating movies from their in-house studios from its "Sony Pictures," including the animated comic book flick, "Spider-Man: Into the Spider-verse," which focused on Miles Morales.

There is also another Sony Pictures production that brought a game franchise to life, and it is with Tom Holland's Nathan Drake in the 2022 release of "Uncharted" from the same title as the game. It is another game that Sony brought to the big picture and allowed people to experience another aspect of the title's entertainment properties without using a controller.

Now, the company is still reinforcing the production of the many game franchises it has on the library, all to come to the big screens or streaming platforms. It would focus on expanding the game franchise and help in the fame of the different titles that will have a dedicated series available for all.
