Material You is Google's new unified design language that was first introduced with Android 12. It's all about personalization that analyzes every last detail of your wallpaper, it will extract ever so slightly different colors and give you a different kind of experience on your phone.

Users can just set a new wallpaper and it will do its magic, and there's no further tweaking needs. This is not a first since there is now a growing number of apps that allow users to tweak their user interface, but having a wallpaper that serve as a system is a whole different level.

The implementation of the new update is smooth and all app parts are legible in various color options that make Skit feel at home on a phone loaded with so many Google Apps.

There is also a themed icon added to make Skit fit in with the apps on your Google home screen on Android 13.

More Safety Features

The Skit 3.0 update also gives users a better idea of which permissions  could be potentially dangerous and which are harmless.

They also experiment with the option to always force regular APK extraction instead of split APKs that tend to be a challenge when installed. However, the developer notes that this might not always work because the base APK might sometimes miss crucial components saved to one of the split files.

As a workaround, Skit 3.0 now offers the option to install APKS files natively that leads to a seamless experience when you run into an APKs file for installation.

Skit Continues to Grow

Skit allows users to view and manage all of their installed apps and provide granular information about them. It will let you see what you have installed or updated, the amount of storage and memory you use, how long you have used them, the permissions that are set, and more.

By far, Skit isn't the only option for app management today, but it's one of the best since it was launched in 2019. This is becase it's easy-to-use and a fair revenue model. There is a free basic app and you can get the premium version at $1.99 that comes with more features, such as detailed statistics and the option to delete and extract multiple apps at one.

As of now, Skit has gained over 100,000 downloads. At the rate that they're going, it won't be a surprise if they keep releasing updates to make the user experience so much better.
