Sony confirms that it will be holding the next PS5 restock on its official website. According to a new report, the event will take place this Tuesday, May 31, but it's only through email invitation at PS Direct.

The demand for the next-gen consoles increased when the pandemic hit the world. People have spent most of their time inside their homes holding different gadgets to pass the time.

Sony has found this opportunity to be a driving factor in the rising demand for the PS5. Unfortunately, it did not live with its expectations since it could not keep up with the issue amid the supply shortage.

It even got worse when the semiconductor crisis impacted many tech companies, including Sony. The past years have been challenging for people who want to obtain this console. However, things have shifted quickly for those who want to get another shot of opportunity.

According to Gaming Intel, Sony will be dropping PS5 consoles on Tuesday, May 31. The PS Direct will only be invite-only, so the only thing to get PlayStation 5 is by an email invitation.

The Japanese firm recently announced that it would prioritize PS5 production. It expects that the sales for these consoles will surpass the current record that the PS4 achieved.

Since it's not an in-store drop, make sure you already sign up for the PS Direct ahead of the restock.

Additionally, the PS5 restock will reportedly happen from 11 AM to 4 PM PT. This will be your window to get the most elusive console on the planet.

The email will include the instructions and the information that you need to accomplish. As of press time, the invite-only event is only applicable to select countries such as the United States, the United Kingdom, Belgium, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Germany, and France.
